The main purpose of this page is to familiarize club members with features on this website.
Update Your Personal Information
The club uses your personal information to contact you and to display certain information to other club members. The club does not divulge any of your personal information to the public, only to other club members with your authorization.
New members should review and edit their personal data. Existing members should update their personal data if anything, such as email address, phone number, website change. New members may want to change their password to something that is easier to remember.
Instructions for updating your information are located on the Member Maintenance page. From the main menu, choose . A tutorial is available from the main menu by choosing .
Photo of Yourself
The club would like to have a photograph of each member to help new members recognize other members and so
everyone can recognize new members.
If you have not already done so, please submit a photo of yourself to the webmaster that is at least 240 pixels high. Your facial features must be clearly visible, not hidden by cameras, pets or other objects, and not so small as to lose details. It is acceptable to have other objects and pets in the photo.
Members' Contact Information and Websites
The name of all active members, their phone numbers, email addresses and websites are available from the main menu by choosing Only other members may view this information, because to access the page, you must be an active member..
Members have the option of showing their phone numbers and email addresses on the contact page by specifying in our database whether they want the information exposed. To revise the setting of these parameters, from the main menu choose. Click the button, and then after the screen refreshes, scroll down to the row labelled "Expose Data" and check the appropiate check boxes to allow club members to view the information, or uncheck the check boxes to hide it. See figure below.
Members' websites are always shown to other members if a website is specified in the database. To add, change or remove your website address, from the main menu choose. Click the button, and then after the screen refreshes, scroll down to the row labelled "Website" and edit the data entry. See the figure below.
Places to Photograph
Our members have visited a number of places and taken great photographs. If you need some suggestions where to go, take a look at our Places to Photograph page. If you know of a location where there are opportunities for taking interesting photographs, conside creating a Place to Photograph page (described below) to share your information with everyone. Our page is viewable by the general public.
Members who have been to interesting places to photograph can share this information with others by creating a Place to Photograph page. Only active members can contribute places. From the main menu, choose. Submissions and revisions require approval by select individuals for the purpose of assuring the information requested is complete and consistent.
Critique Member Photos
Members can request suggestions for how to improve an image from other club members.

To upload an image file from the main menu, choose
Critiquing Members' Photos
To critique another member's photos, or to review the suggestions made to images that you submitted for critique, either click the link "critique" in the Reminders and Notes... window on the home page, or from the main menu, choose. Next click the radio button associated with the critique "competition" and then click the button and a gallery of images awaiting critiques is shown. Click on an image. That action brings up yet another page where the image is shown and an edit box area where you can type in your suggestions.
Instructional material is provided for logging in, updating your member data and uploading files. You access these features from the main menu and choosing the tutorial of interest.
